From the author: This is a spicy fairy tale retelling of the long-forgotten German fairy tale King Thrushbeard. It was one of the first stories to use the enemies to lovers and forced marriage romance tropes. The original story was first published for adults by the beloved Brothers Grimm (whose works include such classics as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel).
